Our Story

History

The Goldner Associates story began in 1951 in Nashville, TN where Fred Goldner owned and operated a successful jewelry store. The company soon expanded its product line when Fred's son-in-law, Bill Neaderthal, noticed customers were buying more Zippo lighters and Cross pens than jewelry and that a niche for providing quality corporate gift items needed to be filled.

From a humble one-room office in the Arcade downtown, business blossomed.
By the early 1960’s, the company was providing local high school swim teams with competition medals, a move that would soon make Goldner Associates the premier provider of medals, pins, and patches in the Nashville area.

In 1967, Goldner Associates became a full-service promotional products company and Bill’s son-in-law, Jim Straus, opened a branch office in Cincinnati, Ohio. Business flourished, and in 1978, Jim relocated to Nashville and helped move the company to Charlotte Avenue, a facility large enough for a dedicated showroom and warehouse.

By 1991, Goldner Associates had outgrown its Charlotte Avenue offices and moved to its current location - a custom-designed, state-of-the-art 16,000-square-foot facility in the Metro Center complex close to downtown Nashville.

Today, Goldner Associates is an award-winning provider of promotional products and solutions. We have a total of three showroom locations as well as sales representatives throughout the United States. Click here to see our locations. This national presence has made Goldner Associates an industry leader, recognized by the Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI) as one of the Top 1% of 20,000 promotional product distributors in terms of sales volume.

Goldner Associates is certified as a woman-owned business by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
