The Goldner Art Department can accept both the PC and Mac files, although we work primarily on a PC platform. We can accept compressed archives created with either StuffIt or WinZip

Software/Formats:
Vector Artwork Files (preferred format)
We prefer that original files be sent in Illustrator format so we can manipulate the artwork if needed. Do not include in your vector document any linked or embedded files, unless they are true vector images.
 Adobe Illustrator CS (preferred) - all text converted to outlines
Macromedia Freehand - all text converted to paths, export as EPS
Corel Draw - all text converted to curves, export as EPS or AI |
All
Other formats:
We can also accept the following formats, but do not guarantee that they will transfer seamlessly to our suppliers - additional art charges may apply. We cannot accept Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Publisher, or WordPerfect documents as art. Art charge will apply for recreating your image in Adobe Ilustrator.

4.1 (be sure to also send all font files and embedded
images as separate files)

Adobe Photoshop CS (only appropriate for CMYK - 4 color process - projects)

all Photoshop files at 100% of imprint size and
at least 300 dpi. |
TIFF
| Send
all TIFF documents as one color. We cannot accept
multi-colored TIFF documents unless the image is
to be printed in CMYK. All TIFF documents must also
be sent at 100% of imprint size and at least 300
dpi. |
Unacceptable
files:
GIF,
BMP, PCX, or other low resolution raster
images
Unfortunately, these file formats are unacceptable
for all imprints and will require additional art
time to re-create your image for our suppliers.
JPEG images
For most instances, these files are unacceptable
art. The only exceptions are if you only need a
custom lapel pin or custom embroidery and the jpeg
is high resolution (300dpi).

Sending
art via Email:
Please
email all art to: art@goldnerassociates.com
Do not include in your vector document any linked or embedded
images, unless they are true vector files. If there are linked
or embedded images within your file, you must also send those
files as a separate file (preferably in a TIFF or Photoshop
native format).

Provide
all fonts or convert to outlines, as mentioned above.
Provide
PMS colors.
If
possible, all artwork should be compressed. We prefer
Stuff-It or WinZip. Do not send self-extracting files
- they will not pass through our firewall.
Please note that any files over 9 MB must be sent via FTP.
