Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, or WordPerfect documents cannot be accepted as art. Art
charges will apply for recreating your image in Adobe Illustrator. In addition, we will require a hard copy of
any image submitted in one of these formats.
For PC only:
Quark 4.1. Be sure to also send all font files and embedded images as separate files.
For PC/Mac:
If you are working from a Mac platform with CS3, we will need you to send your vector art saved as a PDF
with full Illustrator editing capabilities as there is an incompatibility between Mac and PC when opening
CS3 EPS files.
Adobe Photoshop CS3. Only appropriate for 4-color process or CMYK projects. Send all Photoshop files at
100% of imprint size and 300 dpi minimum.
TIFF. Send all TIFF documents as one color. We cannot accept multi-colored TIFF documents unless the
image is to be printed in CMYK. All TIFF documents must also be sent at 100% of imprint size and at least 300 dpi.
Unacceptable Art Formats
GIF, BMP, PCX, or other low-resolution raster images are not acceptable art for all imprints. If your only
art is in one of these formats, there will be an art charge to recreate the art in an acceptable vector format for our suppliers.
JPEG images. For most instances, these files are unacceptable art. The only exceptions are if you only need
a custom lapel pin or custom embroidery and the jpeg is high resolution (300dpi minimum).
Sending Art
Please email all art to: art@goldnerassociates.com.
Do not include in your vector document any linked or embedded images, unless they are true vector files. If
there are linked or embedded images within your file, you must also send those files as a separate file (preferably in a TIFF or Photoshop native format).
Always provide all font files or convert the fonts to outlines, and always provide all Pantone or PMS color
numbers.
If possible, all artwork should be compressed. We prefer Stuff-It or WinZip. Do not send self-extracting files
as they will not pass through our firewall.
To send files larger than 9 MB, you will need to use our FTP site by clicking here. Please notify art@goldnerassociates.com once your files have been uploaded.
